Visiting with a group

The minimum size for a group tour is fifteen people. Groups of over 25 may be split into smaller groups for the tour, due to the nature of the house and the size of the rooms.

The guided tour lasts approximately an hour, depending on the size of the group.

The charge for guided tours is £6.50 per head. We encourage larger groups to book visits on a Monday or Tuesday, when the house is closed to the public and groups can have an exclusive viewing. Group visits can also be booked during the house’s closed season Monday-Thursday.

Visits to Danson House can easily be combined with a visit to Hall Place or Red House and we will be happy to help you make arrangements for a combined visit.  We can also offer your group refreshments such as tea/coffee on arrival, light lunches or afternoon teas. These must be prebooked in advance of your visit. Please request further information and menus from our Booking Officer.
