Lecture with Lunch: Phrases and Sayings

Phrases and Sayings: The Etymology of the City of London by Alan Read

Tuesday 1st November, 11am, £22 per person

The English language is rich in idioms, phrases and sayings which are part of everyday speech yet seldom do we consider their original meanings.
